Be Encouraged

Be encouraged and know that what folks THINK
must not affect you at all-
for you must know you're a Child of God
if the chips should make a fall

You must gather yourself and say a Prayer
to One much Greater than you-
For His mercies are renewed daily
and He's there whenever you're blue

He's also there when things are right!
and you're feeling good about your deeds-
for the Savior's hand provided the plan
that supplied your heartfelt needs

So don't worry about what some folks THINK
they may not understand-
You're walking in steps that are ordered
The Lord God's Holy Plan

Just follow His example be humble, loving
and kind-
And folks will say- as they look your way
Lord....give me a heart like thine!
